A reflection in shiny water bug thing...

WELL the picture pretty much says it all, the sky dome reflection as a very noticeable split near the bottom on each side

Also I just noticed, as you see in the pictures that I have of the satellite view, doesn't the trapezoid on the mini map look a bit squished for the ankle that the camera is at?

The red building on green block is still there :/

http://op6xyq.blu.livefilestore.com/y1psaQrN3zy-2LUP9gLFbAkCqvdVGjMau-9zzyFRMw-9N0uJwS-PTOPZuY-2Jkek4ARbNOLmikddxJCcYJ5EcbbZsTtQ2EZz5wt/red%20green.png

And the blue box gets messed and starts lines flash on it near the bottom of the screen when in satellite mode.

Both of those are NOTHING. One is an object that needs PERFECTLY flat terrain and only had somewhat flat, and the other was very similar. ONLY report BUGS that are either not trivial or do not also exist in pb4a please. You are just muddying the water with crap atm Dat.

Possible causes: Incomplete patch, or broken mod. Try downloading it again.

No mod, I just clicked ok and went to the main menu and back into multi-player.

So I recently joined General BlackDragon in some Battlezone Classic testing and also TA5 with that. I got across a bug which GBD told me he is new to, so though I might share it here, perhaps some wiseguys here see the connection and are able to make a fix :)

Symptoms
About 30% - 50% of frames have graphical artifacts, seems like bad rendering. Triangles are misinformed, stretched out over the screen space, only lasting one frame. Some terrain polygons also fail to render.

No performance or gameplay impact it seems.

Bug concerns PB3, PB4 and TA5 so far. Haven't tested on any other updates. Graphics card: 9600GT.

Fix
Set skydetail to none.

We already know that updating drivers for PB4 and PB2 will result in serious problems on an nvidia card in the 8 series or above. theres a wacking great post about it.

Remember that TA5 is still in alpha stage. A LOT of map changes were made to.

upgrade you're drivers to ones that NVidia suggest (NOT NOT NOT MICROSOFT), and try again.

My source engine games do that when they indicate OS Page Memory low (often when it is NOT).

Av and GBD won't be best pleased now BZC screenies are on the net

General BlackDragon

It's the demo, and there's already several screenies and a video of live gameplay on the net...Where have you been?

But yeah, hopefully updating drivers will work. I updated mine but i didn't notice any differance. I'm using 7600.
