BZ2 should work fine on the 64-bit OS since it has a 32-bit layer.
I doubt they removed that limit, but that limit only applies to not-yet-connected connections, not connections that are fully established.  If BZ2 uses UDP then it does not matter any way.

I'm interested to see if they ballsed it up as much as they did with Vista. Hopefully not as I would genuinely like it to work well as XP is starting to get on my nerves these days. Then again, the issues are most likely from my hardware.
