This is going to sound silly, but when I host on Gamespy, I get those two "Received packet #" messages letting me know I have port forwarding enabled correctly. The second one tells me I can turn those messages off via gameprefs.ini, but I cannot find the option. Does anyone know what the name of this option is?

Comm Stats / Comm Stats - The Rules
April 09, 2009, 10:27:08 PM
As discussed in General Discussion, this board is here to arrange events such as Battlezone II Multiplayer Games. When posting an event to the calendar, you will be brought to this board to post more details about the event. Currently, users with 30 posts or higher may post new topics/events here. There is also a special group that members can be placed in to allow them to post new events regardless of post count. All members are allowed to reply to any topic in here.

Some ground rules with this system:
1. All events have to be BZ or BZ2 related; don't post events such as your dog's birthday.
2. Keep in mind the calendar has little space to put in your title of your event, so make your event titles short and to the point. You can always elaborate in your post that the event will link to.
3. Be professional with events! I don't want to see titles with curse words or other nonsense. This stuff appears on the index page!
4. Don't bug me to be part of the special group that can post here. I'll assign a group moderator shortly, so go bug them. :P
5. PLEASE Remember we do not all live in the same timezone. When posting a time, be sure to include Timezone information. It may be best to post all events under GMT time. Example: Monday 8:45 PM GMT (Which for me is Monday 3:45 PM GMT -5:00)
6. A good template to use would be Steeveeos post. Try modeling after that when posting up game information.

So lets see how this goes.

News / Word Censoring
February 09, 2009, 07:11:53 PM
As much as I would like to say we are all adults, there is the occasional complaint about a word being used here or there. So to make everyone happy, I have enabled word censoring on the forums. However, if you choose that you are adult enough to handle seeing the word, please visit your profile, go to Look and Layout and select "Leave words uncensored".

Battlezone 1 / Rules
September 15, 2008, 05:23:23 PM
Everyone seemed to be handling the Overdrive Terminal nicely, we haven't had any problems that I've seen, so lets bring back the BZ1 forum. Please remember, this forum can and will be removed if we have issues (piracy, flaming, etc).

The Rules!
1. No posting links or asking about piracy. This includes No-CD hacks, links to the full BZ1 installer and what not. We got introuble for this once already, don't do it again.
2. Listen to Avatar, he's the moderator.
3. These rules apply to the BZ1 "Maps and Mods" child forum.

Was playing an MPI with a friend the other day, while attacking the AI's base, I noticed that I could see the AI's drop off points.

Public 1.3 Beta Archive / Changing Resolutions
November 28, 2004, 04:09:48 PM
For the past few months, I've been finding my BZ2 changing the set resolution.  I always have it set for 1024x768x32.  However when I load it up, usually after rebooting my PC, the resolution is changed to something like 800x640 or somtthing far higher than my normal resolution.  In addition, the amount of resolutions in the Graphics Option changes.  Sometimes I have a list that doesn't go beyond the list box.  Other times, I have a HUGE list of resolutions.

Any idea how I can stop BZ2 from Changing my resolutions?

Public 1.3 Beta Archive / ST FFA Alience Building Issue
November 13, 2004, 08:06:58 PM
Playing a FFA Aliance game, we found that you can not build next to your allied units.  Such as a Scion building a jammer by the ally's Gun Tower.

I can understand not building by Enemy stuff, but Allies?

I've been playing a few Instant Action maps in 1.3 while I had nothing to do at work.  I've noticed when I'm fighting Scion, the ISDF Assault Tank doesn't fire at a Gun Spire until it is within range of said spire.  Thus the Assault Tank's Supeior fire range has been nullified against Scions.

Has Anyone else noticed this?

At first I thought this was a simple compatability issue with G66 and ITS, but I played a normal MPI using my mod ITS and found that the Scion's Bomber goes haywire in MultiPlayer while it works totally fine in Single Player.

The issue is that the bomber continues to go up and down on its pad and will continue to do so.  Than when you order it to do something like bomb a scav, it will take off and than play upsidasey on the ground.  Basicly being it deploys than undeploys on the ground never reaching its target because its too busy "Jumping".

Anyway to add support to other race bombers so this issue doesn't continue to occour?

I've run into a rather annoyance in BZ2 1.3 recently.  I've been launching my games via command line using +host or +connect which goes along great.  However every time I notice some of my options always reset, for example my 30 audio channels go back to 16 and some of my input options disapear.

I discovered that this is because I'm not being logged into my profile.  Thus I tried -Login "Sonic" and several other variations to get it to log me into my profile with no success.

Has anyone else got -Login to work, or is this something that needs fixing?

Public 1.3 Beta Archive / Problem with Patrol?
March 07, 2004, 06:24:38 PM
While someone was testing ITS, they encountered an issue with a unit that was on "Patrol" (by DLL) ignoring enemy units.  Did something change that is causing units set on Patrol not to engage other units?

After long wait, the bz2cp developers are proud to release the Forgotten Enemies Full Installer!  The Full Installer will install Forgotten Enemies to Rev.C in one download/install, so you are instantly ready to go and play!  The Full Installer install is totally compatible with the Part 1/2 Installs, so there is no asset problems.

To Download the full installer, go here:
