So Microsoft has released the Win7 RC.  The install will be good until June 2010, but as of March 2010, it will automatically shut down every 2 hours unless a retail version of Win7 is installed.

So.  First of all, your thoughts?

Second, have any of you downloaded it already?

Battlezone 2 / Player problem
April 13, 2009, 12:34:45 PM
For anyone who hosts PB4a, there is a player who has taken to impersonating me.  If a player enters with the name "vsmit" (note, lowercase), confirm that it's me playing or be wary of what they do.

Thank you for your time.

Battlezone 2 / WINE
November 23, 2008, 11:15:32 PM
So I still don't have access to a PC, but I have been able to dual boot my laptop with Ubuntu.  I have the newest version of WINE but it hangs on the installer.  I know there are some people who are running BZ2 on a Linux box, and I was wondering if there was something I could do to fix this issue.

Thanks.

Overdrive Terminal / i7 has been released
November 18, 2008, 12:22:48 PM
So as of yesterday(?), Intel's new Core i7 processors are on sale to the general public.  The x58 mainboards are not much more expensive than the older x48 boards at approx. $200, but the i7 920 is over $300.  Discuss.

If the mods feel that this is not necessary, feel free to remove it.

Battlezone 2 / BZ2 on a Mac?
April 23, 2008, 06:30:46 PM
I recently purchased a Macbook, and was wondering if there were any hoops I had to jump through to get BZ2 to work.  Short of partitioning the HDD and installing XP.

Thank you in advance,
