Ah yes. Would have helped if I had acknowledged everything in the first post :P. I would try ST's post.

Does it make a zap noise when you minimize and maximum? use your mouse, etc? I've seen this before. In my case, I switched to a PCI sound blaster Audigy and I got away from that. I haven't connected my CD drives to that sound card yet.

For now, go into your control panel and  your microphone/Line IN/ CD Audio. See if that helps.

I've had a laptop that would make that noise when a CD drive was present. Muting it fixed or playing an audio city fixed it.

Not sure if I'm correct at all. It's using a 800x600 resolution. That's not a widescreen standard resolution. You have widescreen monitor? (again, maybe not even relevant at all)

Yeah, who knows... Your power may flicker... You might not have a UPS, or could have a faulty UPS :p.  You never want a power failure while resizing your partition.

Somewhere along the 1.3 patches, the /ignore command was introduced. I just don't use it though :p

Do note, if I join the game as .:.FTD.:.squirrel-Ge  THAT is NOT me. I have modified a file to allow for 28 characters for my login display name to fit. The real squirrel joins as .:.FTD.:.squirrel-Gen.

My IP is 97.67.108.126 (static). If that does not match my IP /ban the imposter!

Geez, I thought my Amd dual core 3.22 Ghz, Nvidia Geforce 250 OC, 4 GB ddr2 800mhz Ram was a bit out of date. At least the new 21.5 inch monitor makes up for the rest of the computer being out of date.

Anyway, enough about me. Post some links of some computers you are interested on ebay. You may end up buying a better computer in the long run off ebay, provided you spend a little more than just twenty bucks.

Yeah. I remember doing the same thing when I map edited. I guess it's just one of those goofy things we'll have to deal with now with the auto-adjust graphics in place.
#14
But, is this a bug? What's the deal with it?

Wish you much support getting the new career! I don't think you mentioned this on the IRC, either.
