The two // means the line is ignored.  If you remove those slashes, Sean will be banned.

It was from an old argument between GH and Sean, where GH accused Sean of admitting to purposefully lagging games. Whether GH misunderstood or not, other players have had trouble with Sean over the years.

However, Sean has appeared to have calmed down a bit since then, albeit still a bit of a pain at times, but nothing compared to what it was.

Sean admitted to intentionally causing lag in XBox Live games which GreenHeart interpreted as him admitting to intentionally lagging out games that GreenHeart hosted.  I think he said he used programs to induce the lag.  This probably is no coincidence, but Sean did lag a lot in the GreenHeart session that I joined.  If he wasn't using those programs to induce lag, it was a funny coincidence.

I was in the chatroom when Sean admitted to lagging out Xbox Live games.

I don't think any developer would risk singling out an individual from the community. I've always given Sean the benefit of the doubt anyway.

And besides, you should have asked if the line meant he was banned before telling people to be ashamed of themselves.

why should he be ashamed anyway? he made the freakin patch...

Sean can still play. personally, i have him banned, but only because he destroyed my Multi game when i refused to give him my assets for an old recycler variant i was making. I think everyone has suffered annoyance from him... in fact i ended up getting PM abuse over at BZ2MD for mentioning this and starting a flame about him.

I think maybe this topic should be closed to avoid any further member-carnage...

He was either having problems or was trying to ruin the game.  My next question why was he hanging around the recycler for most of the time i was hosting without actually really don't anything except causing lag or repeatedly joining?  I mean i was hosting multiple mpi games for 6 hours & Sean was present 75-85% of the time.

He admitted to cheating in other games infront of afew people on irc & from what i seen in the games i've been hosting he was doing just that to trying to ruin the game for other players.  that line his ip is one was commented out at the same time his ip was added so those that wanted to prevent sean from joining their hosted session they have that option.  

Most of the time when he was present he usually stayed near the recycler without even moving as if he was alt-tabbed.   I know the difference between someone actually wanting to play & someone that only wants to ruin the game for everyone else.  During the games i was hosting it was only sean causing the lag when he was ingame & when he left the session the lag also disappeared.
