The most annoying thing I've experienced over the past few years is that darn crawl that appears at the bottom of the TV screen every five minutes warning about the impending switch to digital TV signals.

So it's no wonder I find this amazing:

Everyone thinks digital is SO much better than analogue, if only they new.

I guess digital now is good enough to surpass old analogue anyway, in the form of HD and Blu-Ray, but still...

Stick with analog, the grey static and hissing noise will be so much more entertaining than most of the stuff on TV these days...

Unfortunately analogue signals will be terminated in a couple of years.

Its either digital or nothing....

The analog cable wires will still work of course until the cable company cuts them off for their own reasons.

Also, good god BBB's avatar creeps me the hell out for some reason. (Says the blinking yellow eyed shadow person.)

A friend of mine once lived in the french alps for a couple of months. He said being away from TV and media (especially news) was one of the most relaxing and best times of his life. Outside world didnt affect him one bit.

No news is good news...
