But so far nothing political has been discussed, just opposition expressed against a leader who won a democratic election.
Is it democracy that you oppose?

I oppose not democracy but democrats who don't really have much to do with democracy anymore, or have democracy but with so much added on to it in that name that the democracy is blurred and hidden.

The form of government in the US is a Republic, not a Democracy.  If you don't know the difference, look it up.  And if you have a bone to pick with the fact that Obama was elected, take it up with all of the people who voted for him, don't take it out on him.

Why in the world do you pick such controversial topics? It just leads to flaming and trolling.. perhaps think before you type.

It doesn't have to involve flaming and trolling.  You can have a discussion of politics if you simply keep it civil and don't take anything personally.  Even though I don't really consider my political views to be fully formed enough to actually discuss them, I still support this thread and the ability to express ones views. 

And remember, most flame wars are simply started by misunderstanding and misinterpretation.  So double check someone's writing before assuming they are attacking/shouting at you.
