Im looking to find out what the speacial weapons do in BZ2 like the red field. I cant find anywere that talks about it

RED is Radar Energy Damping field, meaning it keeps you from showing up on radar but you can still be seen.

VIR makes you invisible, but you still show up on radar.

SITE CAM lets you see through the terrain, which shows up as a wireframe.

STATIC FIELD supposedly breaks the lock some missiles have on you, but causes issues in multiplayer.

BLINK is site to site teleport, so you just appear wherever you place the green disc.

Any others?

There's Static Field?!

I thought there's only Static CHARGE, with causes damage to nearby baddys.

"Static Charge" is an excellent defence against APC attack, those little dudes just fall over and die.

If thats the case maybe someone should make a defensive building that emits a static charge to hold off apcs.

Incidently, is static charge any use against bombs? (not bombers, just the bomb)

maybe they should make a tower that places phantom vir over all your buildings and units. that way, your units would be harder to hit, making you much like the Chinese in red Odyssey except eternally hidden.
