A new 1.3 Patch?

I've heard talk from at least a few people of a newer update of the 1.3 patch that has come out recently...

Is this a rumor?

Mothers_Helper is the person who last told me of it.

If it is true...is this update "official"?

There is a newer version, yes, but it is a private beta.  Mother's Helper is a member of the testing team that tests this version of the patch.  When the newer version becomes stable enough, a second public beta will probably be released.

I don't really have a say in who can and who can't test.  I can make suggestions, that is about all I can do.  The fnial decision is up to GSH.

Nope.  All of the newer 1.3 patches are being privately tested by the 1.3 testing team.  The only way to legally get access to it is to be added to the team, which is GSH's decision.

dont expect it any time soon though. GSH is probaly is still P.O'ed from last time.....so if he does release it it'll probaly under his terms.

What, the last time saw more action on these forums than there has been for a long time.  At least it got some old names back visiting the Boards here.  We could have done without the flamers though.  They know who they are, but shall stay nameless.  However, many of them wish they'd kept their mouths shut now, I'll warrant.

I personally liked 1.3! I went through the whole single player campaigns without any crashes at all. I do hope GSH releases an update at some stage, but I would like to thank him and all the testers and programmers for keeping this BRILLIANT game going today!

Think of how many of todays games will still be going 5+ years after release?? (NOT many)

when i downloaded 1.3 yes i was a little disappointed but i did see alot of small features that could be improved but didn't need to like the inertia feture
you could assaing a value between 0 to 4 to the different planets to make it more real so that you don't slide around on a planet that is mostly rock and so you do slide aroun on a desert planet i think that would be cool

Here's hoping that another 1.3 patch is released... in whatever time frame is neccessary.  I love this game, always have and always will.  My friends feel much the same way, so I keep it loaded on my LAN computers at all times.  We get a wild hair and start playing it from time to time, and of course I just like to play IA and MPI maps when I have a few moments to spare now and then.

Any new changes, improvements, additions to this game would be most welcome.  GSH, you got my vote for all your efforts, thanks!

do you know what inertia is?
these are HOVERCRAFT so they HOVER so little friction.  therefore they slide in the air.  If you want to make a mod, you can change deceleration of a ship, but that would be a mod.  If you mean with TREADED units (sentry bumping an ass tank and ass tank going flying...), yes, that isnt right, and it will be fixed.
